Apple, ZFS and AppleInsider
Lately I've been reading quite some Apple related weblogs like Daring Fireball and Apple news websites like AppleInsider (no not just since last week when I bought my first Apple computer).
This week Apple Insider had a piece about possible upcoming ZFS support for MacOS X instead of the somewhat aging HFS+ filesystem. John Gruber of Daring Fireball then linked to the original article and the MWJ blogpost that ripped into the AppleInsider post.
In a blog post on Recording Artist, Drew Thaler reacts to the MWJ post and picks up the points where supposedly technical downsides of ZFS are mentioned.
I'm left wondering, wasn't MWJ writing just as much (if not totally) about the horrible writing on AppleInsider?
